By the time the Ferrari Testarossa’s production run came to an end in 1991, Modena’s flat-12-powered wedge had left an indelible mark on popular culture; with 7,177 built between 1984 and that final year, it was also, by Ferrari standards, a tremendous sales success.
Crisp angles defined the design language, yet the long side-strakes that ran along the doors into the quarter panels served a purpose, channeling air toward the potent 5.0-liter flat 12-cylinder engine. By a stroke of artistic genius, the design managed to be sinister and elegant, both forward-thinking and contemporary.
The example offered here is low mileage, and only two owners from new. It comes with both its books and tools in original pouches and a clean carfax. It is ready for the new owner to deicide on the service center of their choice for the belt service. It shows in outstanding original condition and has always been stored in a climate regulated garage. Finished in the classic combination of Rosso Corsa with Tan Leather interior.
