Originally delivered to the u.s. as a red with black boxer trim configuration, the original owner had the top half painted black when new. Borla exhaust was also fitted those first years (I have the almost new condition factory exhaust). I have a set of the wildly expensive 17″ wheels from carobu engineering along with extra splined inserts that allow U.S. modern size tires. The metric original wheels and trx tires are on the car now while being stored. Everything goes with the car. Rather than paying for someone else’s restoration and taking their word on the quality of work done, buy this car and drop 50 grand at a first class shop to get it done right so you can enjoy your investment. Go through the engine, do the paint, retrim the typical original leather shrinking dash. The cool thing about these boxers is that even though prices are approaching a half million bucks they are still simple cars to work on. Personally, I planned to lower the car on Carobu coil overs and run the 17’s with modern rubber while putting the original konis shocks and wheels aside. Save the oem exhaust and keep the borla that is on the car as it is a spine tingling cool boxer 12 sound.
